GRANT GROUPS

Are you a nonprofit organization looking for fundraising opportunities and able to commit a minimum of 10 volunteers to assist during the Kansas City Marathon? Apply today to become a Garmin KCM Grant Group!

Qualifying volunteer groups of 10 or more will receive $15 for every volunteer. For example, if your group has 15 members register and volunteer, a donation of $225 will be made to your group.

Ambassadors

Each year, the Garmin Kansas City Marathon selects ambassadors to represent the event at group runs, expos and other activations.

Program details:

  • Perks

    • Each ambassador receives a 10% registration discount code that can be utilized by anyone. Every time the code is used it helps the ambassador earn rewards!

    • Official KCM ambassador t-shirt and other apparel and/or accessories (based on availability).

  • Rewards Program

    • 1 complimentary entry for being selected as an ambassador

    • 2nd complimentary entry for 5 registrations

    • VIP tent access for 10 registrations

    • Prize Pack for ambassador with the most race registrations.

  • Duties

    • Ambassadors to work a packet pickup shift for KCM (schedule permitting)

    • Ambassadors to work a promo table at packet pickup for HHR to promote KCM
