Residents along the route will be allowed to cross the road during the race when there are gaps in participants and police officers deem it safe to do so. The Kansas City Police Department has been contracted to provide appropriate traffic control during the race to allow for safe travel for residents as well as the thousands of participants along the course.
Streets will close and re-open on a rolling schedule. Times are estimated based on previous years. Volunteers and police will be at intersections to work with traffic and athletes. For the safety of everyone involved, we appreciate your patience as we work together.
