Chiefs Kingdom Champions Parade and Rally to be Held on Wednesday, February 14
KANSAS CITY, MO (February 11, 2024) - The City of Kansas City, Kansas City Sports Commission and the Kansas City Chiefs invite all fans to a Chiefs Kingdom Champions Parade and victory rally in downtown KCMO at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 14.
New and notable for 2024:
The parade will begin at 11 a.m. – an hour earlier than in 2023 – to facilitate the dissipation of crowds and traffic prior to peak dining hours.
The Kansas City Streetcar will be in operation before the parade starts and hopes to reopen in the evening.
The parade will not be going through City Market this year.
With sunny, warm weather expected for Wednesday, February 14, we expect larger crowds. People are encouraged to carpool or utilize park and ride options through RideKC.
·Visit KC has launched a landing page and free marketing toolkit to promote small businesses through the campaign “For the Kingdom. From the Heart.”
The two-mile long parade begins on Grand Boulevard at 6th street and heads south to Pershing Road. The parade turns west on Pershing Road to Union Station. The victory rally stage will be in front of Union Station, with the National WWI Museum and Memorial hosting viewing opportunities on its north lawn. The victory rally starts at approximately 12:45 p.m., shortly after the parade ends.
“I want to congratulate the Kansas City Chiefs on another well-earned Super Bowl victory,” says Kathy Nelson, President and CEO of the Kansas City Sports Commission and Visit KC. “The excitement generated by the Chiefs and Chiefs Kingdom continues creating opportunities for Kansas City to reach a wider audience than ever before, bringing economic opportunity to our entire region.”
