Nichole Robinson joined the Kansas City Sports Commission in September 2017 as the National Events Manager. Within this role, Robinson manages national events hosted by the Kansas City Sports Commission as well as local partners, develops appropriate strategies and timelines to drive attendance and awareness of events, and assists in identifying prospective events.
Prior to arriving at the Kansas City Sports Commission she served as the Director of Championships and Sport Administration at the West Coast Conference. While in that position, she served as the tournament director for the the men’s and women’s golf championships, men’s and women’s cross country championship, as well as the women’s rowing championship. She assisted with several Conference governance groups including the championships committee.
While a graduate student at Loyola University (Chicago), Robinson was the tournament manager for the 2014 NCAA Men’s Volleyball National Championship, held on campus. In that role, she collaborated with the NCAA, campus partners, and external constituencies.
A native of Denver, Colorado, Robinson was a student-athlete on the volleyball team at the University of Central Florida. Robinson concluded her playing career at Loyola while completing her MBA.
