Nichole Robinson serves as Director, Business Development & National Events for the Kansas City Sports Commission (KCSC).  Robinson and the KCSC are responsible for identifying, bidding on, and hosting sporting events that enhance the quality of life and economic success of Greater Kansas City.  Since her arrival at KCSC in 2017, Robinson has helped lead hosting efforts for the 2017 NCAA DII Men’s and Women’s Soccer Championships, 2017 NCAA DI Women’s Volleyball Championship, 2017-2019 Big 12 Women’s Soccer Championship, 2018 NCAA DI Women’s Basketball Kansas City Regional, 2019 & 2023 NCAA DI Men’s Basketball Midwest Regional, 2019 U.S. Gymnastics Championships, 2020 NFL Kickoff, 2021 NCAA NC Bowling Championship, 2021 NCAA DII Men’s Golf Midwest Regional, the 2023 NFL Draft, and the 2024 NCAA DI Wrestling Championships. Robinson has worked with the Big 12 Conference on the Men’s Basketball Championship since 2018 and the Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship since 2020. 

Robinson came to KCSC from the West Coast Conference (WCC) where she was Director of Championships and Sport Administration. Prior to the WCC, Robinson was the tournament manager for the 2014 NCAA NC Men’s Volleyball Championship.  Robinson was a collegiate volleyball player at the University of Central Florida, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Event Management.  She completed her MBA from Loyola University Chicago while also playing on the women’s volleyball team.
