Justin joined the Kansas City Sports Commission in May of 2022 after graduating with a Bachelors’ degree in Sport Management and Minor in Communications. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Sport Management.

Justin served as an athletics intern in his last year of undergrad in athletic administration. During his first year as a graduate student, Justin served as the Athletic Director’s graduate assistant at Texas Tech University where he was able to experience daily administrative operations and game day event operations.

Justin competed as a Track & Field athlete at Texas Tech University where he finished as a 4x All-American, 4x Big 12 Champion, and National Champion from 2017-2021. Justin has represented Team USA in the sport of Track & Field at international meets where he placed 7th in Long Jump at the Pan-American Championships and 1st in the 4x1 relay at the NACAC Championships.

During his free time, he enjoys watching Sporting KC and Chelsea soccer matches, reading, and coaching youth athletes in Track & Field
