Amelia has been a “doodler” her entire life. Whether it be on a desk at school, in a sketch book, or on a team agenda, she has always felt the need to leave her mark. It wasn’t until graphic design, that she discovered she could make a career out of her talents.

Being a Kansas City native, Amelia stayed close to home to earn her BFA in Visual Communication from the University of Kansas. Her last semester, Amelia pursued opportunities for internships and was selected as the graphic design intern at the Kansas City Sports Commission.

Not long after, Amelia accepted a design position, joining the marketing team. With this role, she creates marketing materials, event design and branding for all local events such as the Garmin Kansas City Marathon, Kansas City’s Big 12 Run, WIN for KC Women’s Sports Awards Celebration and the BLVD Revel Run.
